Ordering Repeat Prescriptions
Medication can be requested via the following methods:
- Sending a repeat prescriptions request or query via SystmConnect
- Using our Automatic Ordering Service or Electronic Repeat Dispensing Service. You can sign up for this through our dispensary or your local pharmacy
- Through the NHS app - you can order repeat prescriptions and nominate a pharmacy where you would like to collect them
- By ticking the medication required on the right hand side of your green prescription form and handing it in to our dispensary or posting it in our prescription boxes
Prescription Charge Exemptions
If you are eligible for free prescriptions you can obtain a FP92A form from our Dispensary to apply for a medical exemption certificate.
Your GP will sign the form to confirm that your statement is correct and then will send this off for you.

NHS Prescription Prepayment Certificate (PPC)
A PPC could save you money if you pay for your NHS prescriptions.
The certificate covers all your NHS prescriptions for a set price. You will save money if you need more than 3 items in 3 months, or 11 items in 12 months.
The current prescription charge in England is £9.90 per item. A PPC costs:
- £32.05 for 3 months
- £114.50 for 12 months
If you get prescriptions for hormone replacement therapy (HRT), you can click here to read information about the Hormone Replacement Therapy Prescription Prepayment Certificate (HRT PPC), which may save you more money.
Before buying a PPC, check if you're entitled to free NHS prescriptions and other help with health costs using this eligibility checker.
