New website, new online system

Posted on:

You may have noticed that our website has changed. We hope you like it and look forward to receiving your feedback, comments and suggestions.

We will also be changing the way you contact us online from Thursday 27th February 2025.

Systmconnect is being replaced with a new online system called Accurx. The page will look like this:

NHS Login

You can log in via your NHS login before submitting the form via Accurx. This saves you having to input your name, date of birth etc, and automatically matches you to your records in our clinical system. You can still submit an Accurx form without logging in, but it may take a little longer.

Requesting an Appointment (Patient Triage) or submitting an admin request

There will be a new link on our new website which will allow you to contact us online for medical and admin requests.

These forms guide you through a series of simple questions to help your doctor understand your concerns or the admin team know what you need.

It’s a great way to provide details before your GP even sees you. Once you hit submit, the information goes directly to our GP team. They’ll review it and get back to you as needed.

Below is how the medical request form looks:

Why we think Accurx will be an improvement

We believe that Accurx offers a more patient-friendly and responsive experience than our previous system.  Just click on the link, fill in a simple form, and submit it to us.

Additionally, Accurx integrates with our existing GP records, reducing administrative delays and improving efficiency for both patients and the team here.

Our Patient Services Advisors can also submit a form on your behalf if you do not have internet access or are unable to submit the form yourself. It will in most cases be quicker to do it yourself if you can, and save you waiting in the queue to get through on the phone.

How Accurx is Different from the NHS App

The NHS App is your personal health hub, allowing you to:

  • Order repeat prescriptions
  • View your medical records (test results, allergies, etc.)
  • Check your vaccination history

To use the NHS App, you need to download it from the App Store or Google Play and log in with your NHS details.
